One of the options is to have a “blog sponsor” section in your blog sidebar. You can place ads there (preferably with eye-catching graphics) that link to affiliate products and your own products if you have any.
Another popular strategy is to write a blog post that promotes an affiliate product. To avoid the problem with Review Sites, the posts should contain real content in addition to the sales pitch. The method is to write the post as if you were talking to a friend: that way you won’t come across as making a pitch.
Don’t forget to have an opt-in form on your blog so that you can collect the email addresses of your blog readers. That way, you can occasionally promote affiliate products through email. You should mix sales letters with emails that contain helpful, engaging content. You can simple re-use your blog posts as content but you should also use original content in your emails.
